Slime is a squishy fun stuff to play. We used to make green substance with Teddy, but over the years slime making became more sophisticated. While the main ingredients stay the same, you can add many extras from colors, small accessories to sparkles, glow or glitter items, even shape the slime particular way to resemble some characters.
While you can make slime at home using mostly household items, there are lots of recipes on-line, toy companies went further and created special slime kits. These kits make easier for kids to create and play with the compound.
For example, Nickelodeon Slime kits we received to play with, offer the convenience and have everything to make slime. Using them you do need to worry about leftover glue, extra coloring or containers for your projects. Everything you need are included in the kits.
Nickelodeon Slime Fun Foods offers fun opportunity to make food-looking slime. It feels as if you have a dough to make mint chocolate chip cookies or cupcakes. The kit has everything needed for that: white glue, slime activator, colourant, beads, fusion beads, mixing bowls and cups. Teddy likes the process of making slime because he has to measure the ingredients, put them together, mix, add cute decorations and watch how they become one new compound called slime. He feels like he leads a science experiment creating a new slime and adding food coloring and sprinkles.
Second kit Nickelodeon Slime Sweet Slime Creations we had an opportunity to play is more sophisticated. This kit includes more ingredients to make super sweet slime creations like Cookie dough slime, Cake batter, Cotton candy swirl slime, Frosting & sprinkles slime or Confetti cake slime. Designed for kids ages 6 and up, it includes slime glue, slime activator, colorant, glitter, sprinkles, confetti, mixing bowls and cups. With more colorants we created different colors slime and combined them together to create layered food items.
Nickelodeon Slime Kits are available at Toys R Us, Indigo, Canadian Tire and Independent Stores across Canada. Check our experience at Indigo Kids Nickelodeon Slime event:
