Join Ranger Rob Earth Day Celebration While Staying Home | #EarthDay2020

This year marks the 50th anniversary of celebrating the Earth Day on April 22. It is started as a protest to fight the negative impacts of industrial development and now grew up and became a strong movement around the world. There are lots of actions, changes and researches have been made since that time but still not enough to protect our planet. That's why every year we require political and civic participation, we ask corporation and governments to support green initiatives and switch to environmentally sustainable practices. While Earth Month looks different this year, we stay home to be safe and support our communities, kids and families can learn how they can help the Earth from home.

Ranger Rob is a popular TV animated character who is 10-year-old ranger-in-training. He ziplines, swings and even snowboards his way around Big Sky Park, the coolest natural adventure park ever. It features all sorts of ecosystems and Rob thinks of it as his very own adventure-filled playground. Rob knows a lot about plants, trees and animals. And this month he invites children to join Ranger Rob’s Earth Month Campaign and encourages families across Canada to remain "Earth Conscious" while they are spending more time at home.

Ranger Rob offers great earth saving tips for household and backyard which you can use all year long:
  • Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!
  • Dispose of your waste the right way
  • Don’t run the water when you’re not using it
  • Turn off the lights when you leave a room
  • Buy energy-efficient light bulbs
  • Hang bird-feeder
  • Lock away your garbage can
For more Ranger tips please check Ranger Rob TV on Instagram and Facebook.

Being a good ranger, who takes care of Big Sky Park, Rob never forgets about his friends. Stomper, Dakota and Sam are in Ranger Rob team, and together they make a huge difference in the park. They encourage children to support their friends during this difficult time. Kids can join some activities together, exchange ideas or find new ways to care for the environment while staying home.

Every little action helps to save our planet!

You can catch the episodes on Treehouse TV in Canada and Nick Jr. in US.
