Trust Fund Beauty - Luxury Line of Nail Polishes with Witty Names #toxinfree

I have tons of nail polishes and I do not think I am going to stop buying them. I love nail art and from time to time go to professionals for fancy job they can do. Nail Polish to me is a reflection of your mood, wishes and the way to express yourself. Girls in the beauty company I worked a while ago always liked my nails and the shades I used. When I had a chance to learn about Trust Fund Beauty, I was very excited to take this opportunity.

Trust Fund Beauty

Trust Fund Beauty collections impress with attitude. I can say they have nail polishes with a message in each bottle. How do you like the names Serial Spender or I Love My #Selfie from Rich Bitch collection? What about Not Fair, Don't Care or Retail Therapy. Besides the catching names, strong statements in each wear, great to know that Trust Fund Beauty non-toxic and cruelty free. Saying exactly, Trust Fund Beauty polishes are 5-free, which means no gross toxins like formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor and others. You can notice it right away when start using Trust Fund Beauty nail polishes: no more “industrial paints warehouse” smell.

Credit Card Workout

I’ve chosen for myself two shades Classic Cash and Credit Card Workout from Out Of This Word Rich, my banking background shines through this selection. Credit Card Workout is a nice metallic color, the color of the car I like to have one day, shiny and smooth. Classic Cash is deep green with a name you remember for sure. Two coats make your nail beautiful and lovely. Be ready to get compliments when you go out.

Trust Fund Beauty Classic Cash

You can check fantastic nail polishes collections on Trust Fund Beauty web site. I am personally looking forward to new Trust Fund Beauty natural beauty products including foundation, lipsticks, eye shadow and other beauty items in the future. I am sure besides good quality products we get the names we all remember and they are going to be sharp and honest!

Crowned! by Julia Dweck - Fairy Tale for New Generation

Crowned! is the first Julia Dweck's book we read with my boy. The story is about a young fairy Quinn who dreams to become a Queen. And there is no reason why not. Queen is everyone’s favorite; she has pretty gowns and lots of jewelry to shine. Young fairy adventures start with research what is needed to be a Queen. First, Queen needs to have a royal look so Quinn makes herself nice clothes, then a young fairy learns how to move and dance.

Being a smart girl, Quinn reads all the fairy tales and comes to the point that a prince or a king has to find her. Little Quinn tries to follow Sleeping Beauty path and bites every apple she finds in the forest, and then she kisses every frog in a nearby pond and tries many other things she learned from books, but nothing seems to work.

Suddenly, she comes across a two head ogre, who is not very friendly and does not look like a prince either. No one is around to help little Quinn to fight against very cruel and monstrous ogre as she expected. Little fairy decides to stand up to ogre to prove herself that she is the Real Queen, no matter if the ogre does not think so.

We liked reading this story about brave fairy Quinn, such a good example for young kids showing that not everyone has to be a Cinderella or have a prince to be a Queen. Every person has to create their own fairy tale and become the hero of the tale.

Yoga Tree Bay & Dundas Launch Event #Toronto

Yoga Tree Bay & Dundas

The weather is getting colder, but there is a place to hide and spend few hours at the new Yoga Tree studio opened recently at the heart of Toronto, Bay and Dundas. This easily accessible location makes a fantastic escape to relax and rejuvenate after a busy day. It is a lovely place where you can heal and energize.

Yoga Tree studio

I was really into the inspiring story of Debbie Fung and Jason Lu, who were persistent in pursuing their dreams to create a yoga community going back in 2007. Last week we were invited to join the opening celebration of their fifth Yoga Tree studio in the GTA which says how popular and desirable these studios in our city. My first thought about this new location was how it is close to Toronto Financial District along with Eaton Center, Dundas Square and Ryerson University.

Fire Room Yoga

I like that Yoga Tree is a whole new concept of yoga where everyone can join no matter of level experience you have. The atmosphere at the Yoga Tree is calm and welcoming, to make you forget all hassles and problems of this busy world, re-charge and get your energy back. The studio offers about 75 classes per week where you can practice over eight yoga styles.

Bay & Dundas Yoga Tree is 10,000 square foot spacious studio with big rooms, FSC certified cork flooring, energy efficient lighting, lockers and convenient change rooms with blow dry stations.

A special attention goes to sauna, which brings so many health benefits, come to relax, revive, rejuvenate, get rid of muscle tension and purify - such a great addition to yoga classes. The studio also features tea lounge where you can enjoy Kombucha Bar which offers an amazing organic cold tea elixir with a thousand year old recipe to cleanse, detoxify and energize.

Southbrook organic wine Organic Beer
Our visit was full of amazing treats including foot and hand massage, henna tattoos and delicious healthy food from Freshii. It was nice to meet our old friends from Southbrook winery (which we visited few weeks ago) with delicious organic red and white wine.

Freshii healthy food

Overall, the atmosphere in the studio was fantastic, you feel like you want to go back over and over again and leave the studio fully relaxed and empowered.

Take a chance, stop by 123 Dundas Street West and experience the incredible getaway in Toronto downtown. For fees, membership and corporate discounts please check http://www.yogatree.ca web site.

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Launch Event #fpSmartStages

Mr D and Dr Deborah Weber

Last week we had an opportunity to join Fisher-Price new toy line launch event “Laugh & Learn Smart Stages”. We were very excited to hear great news from Fisher-Price about releasing the newest and most innovative toy collection for babies and toddlers. Nowadays when technology becomes an essential part of our lives, when parents and older siblings join the latest tech innovations, babies and toddlers also need to learn, grow and explore the world via more sophisticated plays and toys.

Smart Stages Toys

Laugh & Learn Smart Stages technology is based on many years of research, communication, parents’ feedback, suggestions and observations. New toy line introduces seven products, including the Smart Stages Chair; Puppy’s Smart Stages Home; Puppy’s Smart Stages Train; Smart Stages Crawl Around Car; Smart Stages Laptop; Smart Stages Vacuum; and Smart Stages Mower - all designed to encourage children experiential learning through active play.

Mr D Fisher-Price

Celebrity speakers introduced this new innovative Fisher-Price toy line. Dr. Deborah Weber, an expert in early childhood development, researcher and senior manager at Fisher-Price, showed how babies go through three stages of learning - Explore Encourage and Pretend. Smart Stages technology presents developmental play for little ones starting at six months, progressing all the way up to 36 months. Each toy is effectively three-toys-in-one, designed to help babies and parents successfully learn and grow. Parents manually change the level for content updates.

It was nice to meet another presenter, Canadian comedian Gerry Dee, actor, teacher and dad to three kids. He shared his experience as a dad and a teacher, how happy to see the kids laugh and how they grow with us laughing and learning. New toys are engaging, challenging and interesting, it is like a new era of unique and active communication between kids and the world.

Play Date momstown

After the presentation parents and kids had a chance to join Momstown VIP play date with all the toys form Laugh & Learn Smart Stages line, babies were involved with new toys, pushing, pressing, turning and pulling. It was so much fun, and nice to see everyone singing, dancing, interacting and having a good time.

Smart Stages Chair

At the end it was difficult to leave this playground, but we were happy to take pictures sitting in a huge Smart Stages Chair.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages toys are available at all major Canadian retailers including: Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, Sears, Real Canadian Super Store and Amazon.ca. For more information on Smart Stages, visit www.fisher-price.ca/smartstages

Our Adventures in Italy Day I: Rome, Piazza di Spagna, Spanish Steps, Fountain Trevi, Pinocchio Store #familytravel

Teddy in Rome

This is the first post about our summer 2104 vacation in Italy that took place from July 26th to August 7th. Finally all preparations came to the end and we got on board of Air Transat charter flight to Rome. It was much cheaper than regular flight, but without blankets and alcohol - you pay for it if you want. After arriving in Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) airport we made a stop at first Tourist Information booth and bought “3 days Roma passes”. Then we headed to train station that located within airport, and bought transportation passes for 3 days and tickets for train to Termini station – central train station in Rome.

Fountain Rome

One way ticket for one person from airport to downtown Rome costs 14 euro for fast train with cozy seats, but there is a budget version of it for 9 euro. In Paris one way train from Charles de Gaulle airport to downtown is 9 euro. I was surprised that in Toronto, a train from Union Station to Pearson Airport (about 25 km) will cost from 25-30 dollars for person in one way. I am wondering, why it is 2 times more expensive and who will trade convenience of taxi for train hassle that cost the same money?

Trevi Rome
“3 days Roma pass” covers 3 days of transportation (bus, subway and streetcars) and any participated 2 free museum admissions plus small discount for all other participated museums. We planned to stay in Rome for six days and decided to use the Rome passes during last three days. Roma pass is smart way do not waste a lot of time waiting in the lines. Consider that waiting time to buy ticket to Coliseum can reach up to two hours and during summer temperature in Italy, very hot and humid weather – Roma pass is a good deal.

Fountain Trevi Spanish steps
We booked hotel close to Termini station near Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and when got there – left our luggage in the room and went to see the city. We took a subway to Spagna subway station and spent some time walking and sitting on Spanish steps. On Piazza di Spagna two very tall police officers took a picture with tourists. Teddy waited for his turn and took a photo with them.

Fountain Trevi Italy

We were hungry and decided to have a lunch in one of the Piazza di Spagna’s restaurant patios. It was our first eating out in Italy and we ordered pizza and pasta with coffee and gelato for dessert. The food was good, but we were more excited to see Rome and watch solid flows of tourists walking in all directions.

Rome Rome Guards

After lunch we took a short walk to Fountain Trevi. Unfortunately it was under construction and didn’t work, but we came close any way and enjoyed architecture of the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. Just in 50 meters from Fountain Trevi we found Pinocchio store.

It was thousands of Pinocchios there - different styles and sizes. Adult size wooden Pinocchio was sitting on the bench in front of the store and Teddy took a picture with him as well as with two child size Pinocchios in the store. We bought wooden marionette Pinocchio for Teddy and he was so excited that didn’t want to leave the store. There were so many Pinocchios to play with. Our plans were to visit Pantheon that day, but Teddy was not ready for it. Jet lag, adaptation and hot weather forced us to return back to the hotel. We also had to wake up early next morning because we booked 9AM tickets to Borghese Gallery.

NuElle Triple Action Anti Cellulite Concentrate from Skin QR Organics #momsbeauty

It is pretty natural for women to have cellulite and it is such a hot topic among women. Everyone wants to get rid of it and try to find the ways to do so. I remember when I was at school my aunt was in direct sales and was introducing women beauty items, and that time she told me that her anti-cellulite products were her best sellers. That time I did not pay much attention to it, but years passed, a baby appeared in our family and all those cellulite spots became obvious. To get rid of cellulite is not that easy as it seems, it needs discipline, regular exercises and a quality skincare. While exercises can bring significant upgrades to cellulite areas, I know that I should consider the right and effective products for my skin. Anti-Cellulite sounds like a magic to me. How amazing to have a smooth, tight skin and proudly wear your swimsuit.

Without the Bad Days We Can Never Appreciate the Good Ones #VeryBadDay

Alexander VeryBadDay
New Disney comedy "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" which is in theaters starting today, follows 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences terrible and horrible day almost every day of his young life. There is always something happens to him, even for no reason: a gum stuck on hair, the birthday party same day with other popular kid at school, a failed chemistry experiment. All seems to be falling apart. Alex tries to find understanding from his family but with their perfect life it is not that easy. Mom (Jennifer Garner) is almost a VP, dad (Steve Carell) has a super fantastic work experience, brother Anthony dates the best girl at school, prepares for proms and ready to pass his driving test, sister Emily is starring as Peter Pan in the school production. With upcoming birthday Alexander makes a wish if only his family could understand how he feels even for one day.

And that day arrived, that Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, it looks like the world turned upside down. While Alex enjoys his day, dad almost failed a job interview; mom about to lose her high-paying job, no driving license for Anthony, Emily ruining the stage as Peter Pan and the youngest brother munching a permanent maker.

The film is in abundance of funny scenes, and at some we were laughing until tears. Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell play incredibly well bringing hilarious moments in every scene.

Disney Alexander

We all have bad days and adding that, we need them to appreciate our good days; we need bad days to throw away what is not important and insignificant and find what we truly love and need. It was nice to watch how united Cooper family became at the end the day, how they love each other and how family is important. "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" is a wonderful, funny and kind family movie to enjoy.

Meet Boomer! Interactive Unpredictable Incredible Zoomer Dino from Spin Master #ZoomerDino

Spin Master Dino

I think nowadays it is hard to impress our kids with any technologically advanced toys, but not for Spin Master toy team. Every year they bring fantastic tech toys to the market for everyone enjoy from young kids to adults. And this year is not an exception; we are very excited to introduce new Zoomer Dino, our family new prehistoric friend with real dinosaur movements, feelings and interactions.

Zoomer Dino comes in a cool treasury chest, everyone around was so curious what was inside when it came. We like how smoothly Boomer roams around the house thanks to its sophisticated legs. Zoomer Dino can show up somewhere unexpectedly and sometimes scares me with its roar or pass by very fast touching us with its tail. Boomer can be cute, friendly but you can learn about its wild nature if try to pull its tail or push the angry button. If you wave your hand in front of Dino’s head, take a look at the tail, Dino will wiggle it like a puppy.

Want to see Boomer chomping then push the teeth button. When Teddy saw Dino chomping he said that it wants to eat something. Oh, no, Dino is just trying to play with you.

Ted Zoomer Dino

When we gather together and try to play with Zoomer Dino, it becomes a totally chaotic jumping and running circus, one moment I even questioned who controls the situation, we or Zoomer Dino. It is always so much fun. Teddy even wanted to take Zoomer Dino to our mini-trip to Niagara Falls.

Zoomer Dino

Zoomer Dino can be controlled remotely using a control pad, that’s how our adventures start. You can hide somewhere and forward Dino where you want. We often use Dino to steal the attention and invite to change the activities. Boomer’s flexibility and speed are impressive, it can sit, fell on its head, run very fast and everything can be controlled remotely.

As for Dino’s pretty eyes, it can change them to reflect its mood from being lovely and curious to angry and playful.

And finally, Teddy proudly added Zoomer Dino to his Toy Story cast to play Rex, he never had such an interactive dinosaur before.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Zoomer. The opinions and text are all mine.

Disney's Sleeping Beauty: Diamond Edition

Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Bluray
The tale of Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorite when I was a child, and watching it only makes me feel young again. I remember most of the scenes and honestly I am truly happy that this Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Release brings more enhancements than changes to the movie I know from my childhood. Sleeping Beauty is a story about Princess Aurora cursed by an evil fairy, protected by three loving fairies and, ultimately, saved by “true love’s kiss.” Rich colors, nice voices and clear sound make this movie like a new one. The Tchaikovsky music theme goes through the whole movie, so that you want to sing and dance yourself. The pretty thing is that you know already every scene and what is going to happen next but want to watch it over and over again. After seeing Maleficent earlier this year, Sleeping Beauty’ villain does not look so dramatic. Though Teddy when first looked at the cover said “This is Maleficent”, giving Princess Aurora only second mention.

Sleeping Beauty is filled with romantic moments, very funny and even scary ones. We enjoyed the scene when Aurora dances with forest animals and how she meets Prince Phillip. I also like Prince Phillip’s phrase which sounds familiar for many generation of parents and children: “Now, father, you're living in the past. This is the 14th century!”

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty is the sixteenth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon and was the last animated feature produced by Walt Disney to be based upon a fairy tale. It is the tenth film released as part of Disney’s prestigious Blu-ray Diamond Collection.

Featuring the voice talents of renowned opera singer Mary Costa as Sleeping Beauty and Disney stalwart Eleanor Audley as the evil fairy, Maleficent, the film’s vibrant visuals were created by a team that included Milt Kahl and Ollie Johnston.

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty 2-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray Superset (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) contains digitally restored picture and sound, a digital copy of the film, and a variety of magical new bonus features, including "Once Upon A Parade," in which "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland tells us the tale of Walt Disney World’s new Festival Of Fantasy Parade, "Art of Evil: Generations Of Disney Villains," a legacy piece spotlighting Disney’s favorite villain animator and Maleficent creator Marc Davis, and "@DisneyAnimation: Artists in Motion," in which Walt Disney Animation Visual Development artist Brittney Lee goes through the process of creating a three dimensional sculpture of Maleficent, completely out of paper.

Additional all-new bonus features include never-before-seen deleted scenes “The Fair” (with Deleted Character The Vulture,) “The Curse is Fulfilled” and “Arrival Of Maleficent,” plus the Beauty-Oke sing-along to “Once Upon A Dream.” The Blu-ray Superset also includes classic DVD bonus features and more!

Sleeping Beauty: Diamond Edition available on Blu-ray Combo Pack on October 7th.

Get More Fun at Niagara Falls with Clifton Hill Fun Pass

Clifton Hill
When visiting Niagara Falls, we never skip local attractions. There are so many around including one of our favorites - Clifton Hill. Niagara Falls is very beautiful in fall and the weather is still warm. Clifton Hill is an amazing entertaining area close to the Falls filled with attractions, restaurants, shops, rides and much more. After exploring the Niagara Falls it is nice to spend some time in their surroundings and find out what exciting opportunities they offer. To spend our mini vacation to the fullest we decided to get Clifton Hill's Fun Pass. For only $25.95 per adult and $19.95 per child the pass includes admission to five popular Clifton Hill attractions:
  • The Niagara SkyWheel (Canada’s Largest Observation Wheel)
  • Wizards Golf or Dinosaur Adventure Golf
  • Movieland Wax Museum of Stars
  • XD Theater
  • Ghostblasters Dark Ride
  • Plus 5 Great Canadian Midway Tokens
Sky Wheel
The Niagara SkyWheel gives amazing views on Niagara Falls during day and night. The weather was fantastic, we could clearly see the Falls, Niagara River, Skylon Tower and the surrounding area. Blue sky and sunshine made the views even more spectacular. The gondolas are very comfortable inside plus they are fully adjustable to any seasonal changes which make them perfect to ride during hot summer and cold winter days. The ride takes about 8-10 minutes and we switched from one side to another pointing to the different Niagara landmarks.
Dinosaur Adventure Golf
Next to The Niagara SkyWheel you can find another Clifton Hill attraction Dinosaur Adventure Golf which we decided to choose thanks to nice weather outside. Dinosaur Adventure Golf is a huge playing area with gigantic dinosaurs, ponds and an erupting volcano which Teddy was so excited about. There are different levels of this mini-golf course split by color offered. Since we have a little kid, we took the easiest path to make sure Teddy can play with us.

XD Theater Ghostblasters Dark Ride
XD Theater,  Ghostblasters Dark Ride and the Great Canadian Midway are located close to each other in one complex. XD Theater offers 6D motion spaceship traveller ride combining visual, motion and lightning effects along with wind and wild shakes. Teddy at the beginning was scared to sit in the theatre’s special seat alone but when the movie started was so much into it and later said that he liked it. We had a fantastic experience and one moment I even forgot that I am at the theatre and watching a movie. It was like a real space adventure.

Ghostblasters Dark Ride is a Halloween-themed 3D ride in a haunted house with all kinds of ghosts and skeletons. There are some scary moments for sure with falling on you blocks and a coffin, or phantoms approaching you. It is good that there is a laser gun to get rid of all the scary creatures and feel safe.
Movieland Wax Museum of Stars

Movieland Wax Museum of Stars introduces a nice selection of wax version of celebrities from Katy Perry to Simpsons, Terminator and stars of Catching Fire. We were walking through and recognizing favorite characters. It was fantastic to watch some figures look absolutely identical to the real movie characters. We like the reproduction of well-known movies scenes like Lara Croft and Star Wars. Most of scenes are accompanied with music and sound effects.
Great Canadian Midway
For the rest of our Clifton Hill trip we spent some time at Great Canadian Midway pavilion featuring over 300 entertaining games for kids and adults. We had a good time there jumping, driving and playing. Teddy’s favorites were riding cars and bikes, shooting in an old-fashioned tavern and hitting in a Hammer game similar the one, Candace plays from Phineas and Ferb series.

Overall, we had a fun day at Clifton Hill, enjoying lots of family- friendly activities. For more information of how you can spend your days at Clifton Hill please find them on-line, on  Facebook and Twitter. With upcoming holiday season there are definitely lots of things to do there.

We also very excited to offer our readers to win a set of three Clifton Hill's Fun Passes. The giveaway is open to Canadian residents only and ends October 18, 2014.
