In September we attended Yo-kai Watch 2 to celebrate the upcoming release of Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls video games. Yo-kai Watch became extremely popular in gaming world that Nintendo decided to expand horizons and bring fans even more exciting experience. Yo-kai are real folks representing everyday problems, and they live everywhere in our world, you just can’t see them. Some of them good, but there are bad ones too. To be able to see Yo-kai you need to have a special watch and with its power you can find and friend them. New games release brings even more Yo-kai to be discovered. When you become friends with Yo-kai, they can give you their Medal so that you can use it in the watch during Yo-kai battles.
We had a chance to watch first episode of the Yo-kai Watch season 2 anime series. I think Teddy only remembers Jibanyan, Whisper and Hovernyan from the series. The new series of YO-KAI WATCH premieres this month on Teletoon. During the event we played new games, took picture with Jibanyan and checked new toys from Hasbro along with new Yo-kai Watch.
New games bring new opportunities, now gamers can find, befriend, and battle more than 350 new and returning Yo-kai. Cat Hovernyan becomes your time travel buddy, join it to go on adventures and discover the origin of the Yo-kai Watch, save Springdale and meet more Yo-kai. The games also feature 4 players action-based local game mode and allow 2-player multiplayer battles via Internet or Wi-Fi.
For the first time, you can now battle friends on the internet! You can also trade Yo-kai Medals and even team up and play co-op multiplayer in Yo-kai Watch Blasters Mode on Nintendo 3DS family of systems. The games now available in Canada.
