Earth Day Inspired Yoga Practice

To celebrate the Earth Day we are happy to bring this infographic on Yoga For Healthy Hips. Our hips are made up of 17 muscles to provide stability and balance, and give us range of motion for almost all our daily activities. Not taking care of your hips can be detrimental to your health and create problems such as poor balance, lower back pain, misalignment in lumbar spine, and limited range of motion in the hips and lower back, to name a few. But fear not!

Incorporating 10 simple exercises into your daily routine can greatly reduce your risk of having hip problems. Start with happy baby pose. To begin, lie on your back on a mat and pull your knees to your chest. Place your hands on the outside of your feet, opening your knees wider than your torso. Press your feet into your hands and pull down. Hold this pose for 30 seconds, breathing deeply.

Teddy Starring in The Hockey Hero - Personalized Children's Book by KD Novelties #personalizedbook

Disneynature's Monkey Kingdom Movie in Theatres Now #MonkeyKingdom

Disneynature's Monkey Kingdom opens today in theatres, great addition to all Disneynature movies intended to bring the most amazing experience on planet earth to a big screen. Last week we had a chance to join advance screening of Monkey Kingdom in Toronto. Filmed on the South Asian island of Sri Lanka with beautiful nature scenes, the story is about macaque monkeys living among ancient civilization ruins.


I would never have thought that macaque society has complex class structure reflecting how each monkey has to behave, what to eat and where to sleep. There is such a strict division between classes, that even little baby monkeys know what status each monkey has. Who to groom and how is very important. While we may consider monkeys living free surrounded by beautiful rich rainforests, the reality they have to fight for their food and opportunity to give the best to their kids same as we are.

Following the adventures of Maya, who has low social rank and has to be resourceful to feed herself and her newborn son every single day. Since she does not have any opportunity to taste delicious fruits on high branches of the fig tree, Maya needs to explore the near-by area and find food for her son even if it is dangerous like diving into the pond surrounded by predators or eat a birthday cake.


Even in Monkey Kingdom, social status can change if you are smart and eager to learn. When “ex-boyfriend” achieves the alpha status in macaque monkey hierarchy for being strong to fight rival tribes and building good relationship with other monkeys, Maya's world changes for better.

Overall, it is an amazing movie to watch with real animals in their natural environment. The diversity of wildlife found in Sri Lanka is impressive, from the mongooses and sloth bears to lizards and leopards. The scene of flying termites after monsoon season, (a phenomenon happens only one day a year) is one of the best moments of the movie.

Walt Disney Studios & Disney Parks Team up to Present Exclusive Sneak Peek of TOMORROWLAND Movie & Special Exhibit

Walt Disney Studios announced this month an unprecedented collaboration between the Studio, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort to offer park guests a 12-minute sneak peek of Disney’s upcoming thrilling, mystery-adventure film, "Tomorrowland," opening in theatres on May 22. Lucky guests will also enjoy an impressive exhibit that features the making of the movie with props, concept artwork and photos from the filming of the movie plus exclusive images from the Disney Archives. The sneak peek and exhibit will open April 17 in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park and on April 18 in Future World at Epcot and will be available to the public for a limited time. Captain America Outfit from Costume SuperCentre, Join the Team and Become Superhero

Kids love being heroes, playing their favorite characters to save planet from destruction and fight against villains. After watching Winter Soldier we decided that getting Captain America costume will be our next move to superhero world.

The selection of Captain America costumes is impressive, reflecting the multiple adventures of this superhero through generations. It was the one we liked the most for being the classical Captain America superhero outfit plus with upcoming this spring Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, we are ready to join global adventures of the strongest and fastest. The Captain America costume is a fun and fantastic way for Teddy to dress-up like his hero, Steve Rogers, for any special day.


This time we decided to order a costume a little bit bigger so that we can wear it to various events at school and parties for longer period of time. We can also add extra clothing under the costume to keep our little boy warm, very helpful if Teddy wants to play outside, during ice-skating or outdoor parties (our Canadian weather can be frigid by the way).


The costume we received consists of a printed jumpsuit and a fabric mask. The top has fiber filling that puffs out the chest and arms to show hero’s spectacular muscles what seems pretty cool for our slim boy. The printed jumpsuit is designed to reflect famous red, white and blue colors of the classic Captain America disguise, complete with the stars and stripes. The costume has blue top and blue pants to follow original Captain America outfit. I like that the mask came made of fabric (not plastic) with a letter “A” on forehead. Teddy can wear it without complaining; it is soft and fits his head perfectly. The arms and legs have brown finishing to look like gloves and boots. Now we just need to get Captain America shield to get the final look and Teddy is ready to team up with the rest of the Avengers to save the Earth.


Last month our boy was invited to Superhero Birthday Party, kids and adults had such a good time celebrating. Becoming superheroes was so exciting for everyone.

Being a Captain America fan, Teddy is looking forward to see Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” coming out to the big screen May 1, 2015. It is time to dress-up as favorite superhero, follow epic adventures and stop the terrifying technological villain.
