New Little People Arrived to Take You on Incredible Adventures #FPLittlePeople
I am always amazed with kids’ imagination. Kids are too little to know all the rules of math and physics. Their mind is open to almost everything; they follow their dreams and wishes without any limits. My boy loves art and he draws something incredible every day. Once he drew an unusually shaped car with antennas, saying that this car can talk to animals on the road asking them to leave the road, move to a safer location and offer a help if needed. Teddy likes when grandmother visits us and he loves playing with her. One day Teddy questioned if we can buy a medicine for the grandmother so that she was never tired and able to play with him all days long.
Since my little one does not have any siblings, new Fisher-Price’s Little People - Eddie, Mia, Sofie, Tessa and Koby became members of his family, his buddies and his supporters right away. He associated himself with Eddie because Teddy is a very active boy and loves sport. He says that playing ball is always fun in a team but never alone. Teddy also likes Sofie, because he has a friend at daycare who looks like Sofie and her name is Sofie too, quite exciting. Now my boy shows his drawings to his new friends.
He also loves playing a “daycare”, pretending he is a teacher, showing Little People how to hold the spoon, use toys and cross the street. Teddy teaches Mia new songs, Tessa dance moves, Sofia letters and numbers. It is amazing to see what he learnt he gladly shares with his Little People.
Is your kid willing to explore the world, learn new things, find new friends? Then welcome Eddie, Mia, Sofie, Tessa and Koby. If you are excited with new Little People do not forget to check Treehouse the Little People, Big Discoveries contest in October and November. Participants will be able to play a hide and seek game to find new characters on playsets, watch the videos and be entered to win 1 of 5 $265 LittlePeople Prize packs.
Disclosure: I am part of the Fisher-Price Little People® Blogger Campaign with Mom Central Canada and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Total Nutrition by Immortals Herbs - Delicious Blend of Quality Superfoods #TotalNutritionSuperfood
Our busy lifestyle brings a necessity for the right nutrition to overcome daily challenges in addition to maintaining healthy habits. A parent role requires not only having work-life balance but also being the best example for our kids. All those need energy, dedication and good health. That’s why I was interested to learn more about Total Nutrition by Immortals Herbs.
I tried one pouch of Total Nutrition mixing it with orange juice. It had a nice herb taste and reminded me spring time. The only thing you need properly mix the powder with the liquid to get the final drink. I definitely can state that Total Nutrition gives energy and clarity even from the first use. And no doubt this product caught my attention for having only the best organic, GMO free, raw Superfoods. Check them out on Facebook and on their website.

Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats for Worry-Free Nights
After months of potty training battle we finally won, our little one learned how to use potty, go to a bathroom right time without accidents but only when he is awake. During night time he still has some problems to get up and go to a bathroom. This is even more difficult when my boy sleeps in a new and “unfamiliar” environment like hotels during our travels or when we are visiting our relatives.
When I was offered to review Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats, I agreed right away. After consecutive “leaking” nights those Disposable Bed Mats became savers of our bed and our kid too. The bag we received had 9 bed mats, size 2.6 x 2.9ft. A mat does not cover the whole bed and there is no need for that. Every mat has peel strips on each corner to make sure you can adhere it to the bed surface (the absorbent side up, of course) and it does not move around. Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats proved to be super-absorbent during our testing. They are also made of soft material for comfortable sleep. In case night time went well, fingers crossed, you can leave the mat for another night. This is one of the best products to use for nighttime bed-wetting.
I know that we have another journey of training our kiddo to visit a bathroom during nights. But at the same time we avoid embarrassing situation when sleeping at hotels, our friends and relatives homes. If these mats give our little one better nights, more confidence and an opportunity to focus on training, so we are totally for using them. Join me in congratulating Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats on receiving PTPA Media Award, truly deserved.

This is Scarlett and Isaiah
I did not watch previous series, mostly because I did not have any kids when they hit the screen. But this new series, me and my little one are watching with interest. Since September we saw some This is Scarlett and Isaiah series (they still continue every Saturday at 7pm) and my boy liked them.
Our kids love watching This is Scarlett and Isaiah |
They are not only entertaining and educational, I think the main point is that it how kids explore the world same way as my little one does it every day, like making potato chips or picking a pumpkin at a pumpkin patch. These are stories of real kids sharing real experiences. I was lucky to attend This is Scarlett and Isaiah pre-launch event and meet in person the new little adventurers. They are friendly, curious and active preschoolers ready to explore the world and share their findings.
As a parent I sincerely recommend the new series, kids follow their peers’ adventures, learn and ask questions, have fun, try to copy and grow together with becoming favorite character.. It is like seeing yourself from other side of the screen, very interesting and exciting for everybody.

Marvel Heroes and Disney Princess - New Amazing Kinder® Surprise® Toy Collections
My boy likes playing superheroes. What is so special in being a superhero and why kids love to copy their favorite characters? Fancy costumes, weapons or superpower may be the answer. As a superhero my boy can cross long distances, jump, fly, fight bad guys and do many other things available only to his kid's imagination.
These days my boy’s favorite character became Iron Man. He likes Iron Man for continuous improvements; this superhero’s next effort is always expected to be faster, stronger and more powerful than previous one. My boy is too little to understand all the details of the superheroes movies but the main thing he gets from them is that all the superheroes use their power, skills and experience to protect and help other people.
We were very excited to learn about KINDER®’s partnership with Disney Princesses and Marvel Heroes. As a big fan of Kinder Egg (I think every kid of his age loves Kinder eggs) my boy was thrilled to find his favorite Marvel characters. Before going to bed my boy loves when someone reads the stories from his favorite book Disney’s Storybook Collection. He follows the adventures of Bella, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella and other Disney characters.
After having four superheroes in his army he realized how come we have four heroes and no princesses at all, so he turned his requests to open Kinder Disney Princess eggs. Now we have two Bella and hope to meet more Marvel heroes and beautiful princesses.
The new Kinder collections also carry in their arsenal some accessories, we haven’t found them yet but looking forward to it. If you like to learn more about the entire collection of limited edition toys then make sure to visit Kinder Surprise Facebook page and vote for your favourite character.

Montreal Olympic Park
To be in Montreal and don’t see this great city from the top of the Montreal Tower was no option for us. When you visit the big city to see it from bird's-eye view is the must. You can see all major city’s buildings, landmarks and architecture at the same time. Montreal Tower is the tallest inclined tower in the world at 175 metres (574 ft).
We were surprised that even on long week-end Sunday and perfect weather if was just few people that wanted to get to the top of the Tower and no line-ups at all. We jumped in first funicular and it took us to the top of the Montreal Tower, where we could admire the city and its surroundings. On the top of the Tower it is just a small room with big windows. There is no cafe or restaurant there, only a souvenir boutique.
The views of Montreal was breathtaking, especially St. Lawrence River and the bridges. We bought few t-shirts for Teddy and went down. Walking in Olympic Park we felt like we went back in 1976. I think it was nice place to visit, no line-ups and lots of parking spots in the underground parking lot.
Everything changed in one moment as soon as we crossed Sherbrooke Street and approached Montreal Botanical Garden entrance. There was a long line-up just to buy tickets. We didn’t have too much time left and just walked in the Parc Maisonneuve enjoying nice and sunny day and had a picnic there.
It was our last day in Montreal. We were feeling so welcome and comfortable in Montreal. Streets were filled with music and spectacular performances. May be it was just for a short period of time and visitors impressions, but in Montreal you feel like you jump into a whirl of dance and can't stop.
This post is a part of the series of our trip to Montreal during summer 2013. Other posts about this trip can be found here:

Kids Adventure - New Educational Game for Toddlers and Pre-schoolers
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ZennaApps for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Children get multiple benefits from playing. They grow and learn through games, make discoveries about the world and apply what they learnt in real life. Games give kids an opportunity to develop their imagination, answer the questions children may have about different topics, teach them to solve problems, learn new words and concepts.
That’s why I was happy to introduce new educational game called Kids Adventure to my boy. It is a new learning application for toddlers and preschoolers available for free on Google Play Canada. As you can see from the game name, this app brings many engaging activities for kids helping them to explore the world, learn and develop multiple skills. Children can play puzzles, find hidden objects, browse through labyrinth and much more.
My little one absolutely loves Fluffy kitty who takes kids through the game adventures and shows how to perform the tasks. Lovely images and characters are friendly and welcome. Educational content introduced via multiple games levels, beautiful locations, direct interaction, engaging and fun music and, of course, virtual rewards.
I am sure many kids love animals, same as my little one and would love to learn more about their life. Kids Adventure has an entire Zoo coming to play with your kid: colorful parrots, meerkats, penguins, fossas, cats and many others. Kids get interesting information about places too.
If you are looking for games both entertaining and educational, Kids Adventure would be a good choice, giving your kid an opportunity to develop important skills and be ready for school. Download Kids Adventure for free today, incredible adventures wait for you!

Red Power Ranger Costume for Halloween 🎃
Fall is bringing colors, rain and favorite holidays - the holidays, filled with fun, treats, sweets, decorations and costumes. We started preparing for holidays too, our decorations are already up and Teddy is looking through his favorite characters- superheroes, trying to find a costume he likes for Halloween celebration.
As a big fan of Power Rangers series, my little one decided to be a Red Power Ranger for Halloween this year. I browsed through the varieties of Power Rangers costumes and we liked Red Ranger Power Rangers Megaforce costume at Wholesale Halloween Costumes, so I ordered the size 3T-4T for my toddler and received it quite fast, just in a few days.
When the costume arrived Teddy was very excited, in real life it looked even better that on a photo on-line. The costume consists of two pieces: a jumpsuit with muscle torso & arms and a character mask. Teddy tried it on, and it fitted him perfectly, the costume was exactly his size and sewed according to his figure. The headpiece is a great addition to the costume and Teddy loves watching himself in the mirror when he puts it on.
I like that character mask has an option to wear it as a hat or mask, very convenient and gives an opportunity to change during games. One of my favorite features of the costume is white pants; they make the whole costume look really nice and special. The attached soft belt is very handy as my little one uses it to carry his big battle weapons; the belt also features the classic Megaforce symbol which is very important.
I think that our costume is already in high demand this month with multiple events and parties happening around the city including Halloween party at Teddy’s daycare. We already had a good time at Canada’s Wonderland this week-end, participated in a Costume Parade (and received a medal for that), Trick-or-Treated in the Camp Spooky area and joined many other Halloween-themed activities. So I think our Red Ranger costume finds the use not only for one day in October but for the whole month, plus with many birthdays coming over in November Teddy is ready for them in advance.
Halloween is fast approaching so take a look and choose what you and your kid would love to be this year and what costume you like the most. There are so many great Halloween costumes to choose from. Have a nice holiday season and happy trick-or-treating!

A Hug is Always Wonderful #BigHugsElmo
If you are a Sesame Street fan you definitely would love to know about Big Hugs Elmo toy. Big Hugs Elmo came directly from the screen and is ready to fill kid’s life with fun, songs and endless hugs.
The first day Elmo appeared in our home, he became Teddy’s friend and a member of our family. Now we often see Elmo and Teddy playing together. Big Hugs Elmo is quite talkative, loves singing and funny all the time. It is amusing when Elmo talks and suddenly closes its mouth for seconds, such a face expression. We all laugh and say look at this guy, so funny. In the evening, before going to bed, my boy reads to Elmo bed time stories, the truth is that Teddy is too little to read but he takes a book and creates his own stories based on book pictures. Big Hugs Elmo such a good buddy who sings a lullaby, then yarns and fells asleep making snoring sounds.
I remember once my kid had a little fight with his cousin over a toy, everyone wanted that particular toy, so boys both started pushing, crying and trying to snatch it from each other. Good that grandmother came and asked kids to stop and give her the toy. She said that this behavior was inappropriate and asked them to give a hug and do not do that any more. Surprisingly, after that kids forgot immediately about the toy, stopped crying and started playing another game together.
There's something in a simple hug
That always warms the heart,
It welcomes us back home
And makes it easier to part....
Johnny Ray Ryder, Jr., "A Simple Hug"
