I cannot imagine a March Break without Disney show, and this year we were very excited to meet again Disney on Ice in Toronto. Compared to previous years the day of the show was quite snowy and cold, but we assumed that new Disney princess Elsa was demonstrating her magical abilities and freezing everything around.
Disney shows are always big events for us and this time was not exception, we started our preparations few weeks before, ordered a Woody costume for Teddy knowing that Toy Story part will be presented at the show. Disney on Ice Let’s Party introduced a set of celebrations presented with multiple Disney characters including a scene from “Fantasia”, fabulous Halloween haunt lead by a bunch of villains - Captain Hook, Jack Skellington and Maleficent. Next beautiful scene was rather romantic showing favorite Disney princesses and answering Minnie’s question how to know she is in love with someone. Beautiful skating, exhilarating jumps make you follow and catch every moment, you feel like you swing, turn and fly with characters.
Next part of the show warmed us for sure while watching it. Having a winter storm outside Rogers Center and the temperature around -20C, scenes on a Hawaiian beach, palms or Spring in Japan with full bloom were just what we needed. The whole performance Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Donald Duck were with us always entertaining. When Toy Story characters appeared on the stage Teddy was very excited to see all of them Buzz Lightyear, Woody (he was Woody too), Jessie, funny Hamm and Rex.
Disney on Ice Let’s Party can be definitely named one of the best parties we had so far, with the fabulous skating, songs, costumes, sound and visual effects (lighting and a huge screen). The show brings so much delight and excitement to everyone who loves Disney stories coming live on ice.
