Follow Adventures of Favorite Fairytale Characters in The Seventh Dwarf DVD Giveaway CAN

The story takes us to the eve of Princess Rose’s 18th birthday ( I think the release on the 18th of August is not just a coincidence). Everyone in the kingdom has come to Fantabularasa Castle to celebrate including Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Red Riding Hood. But just before the stroke of midnight Bobo, the youngest dwarf, accidentally pricks the finger of Princess Rose (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty) with a cursed needle and sends the kingdom into a century-long slumber! To find Rose’s true love Jack to save her with a kiss, Bobo and the other six dwarfs must go on a treacherous journey, face a fiery dragon and outwit the jealous, scheming and evil witch, Dellamorta!

While our little one loved watching this release, I think the story went through some modern upgrade, adding new features that now stories has shows and jokes which are quite sophisticated for young audience. Not everything is straightforward as bad characters are not that bad and good one sometime not so brave as used to be. One thing we loved for sure are the songs coming out very often. Our boy liked Bobo and how he was able to handle different tough situations. There is also a good team work in the movie. The quality of this CG-animated motion picture is amazing, we loved all characters and actions even though we watched just a DVD version.

Growing Active Kids Tri-FUN Kids Triathlons #TriFUN

Triathlon for kids is a great way to learn about popular sports and take a part in it thanks to Tri-Fun Triathlon events taking place across Ontario in Vaughan, Milton, Mississauga and Oakville. This non-competitive race series give children an opportunity to become triathlon athletes for a day: bike, swim and run in one set, learn the rules and be winners just for participating.


Tri-Fun Triathlon race is well organized; there are lots of staff member and volunteers around to guide you in every step in your race. They are not only helpful but also encourage and support every child. This year is second one we decided to join Tri-FunTriathlon in Milton and it was very successful. It was great to see that more families and kids take a challenge this year to support a good cause. If last year Teddy was a little bit lost what to do and how, this year he was more focused on tasks and confident about himself.

At the beginning of the race every child receives a package at the Transition zone and a racing bib for identification. The first part - swimming was very easy for Teddy, he decided to swim on his back saying that way he can faster cross the pool distance 12.5 m. This part has to be done with a parent for younger children. Next step was biking, we run to our bike location to put on trainers and ride. On the way Teddy met lots of supportive fans and vigorously pushed the pedals to move forward.

The last step was running 100m towards the finish line. Since Teddy was in the youngest group (3 to 5 years old) and distance was not very long, he crossed the line very fast. Every athlete’s name was announced at the finish and all kids received medals for the completion of the race.


It was great experience for both parents and kids. Weeks before the triathlon race Teddy was very excited and was looking forward to participate. Even if he goes swimming or biking it is one side of activities, but when these activities in one set, it becomes more challenging and interesting. The feeling of accomplishment and confidence in own abilities are so important for young kids. We were very lucky and proud to participate in Milton Tri-Fun Triathlon race for children.


After the race the whole family headed to Tri-Fun Zone filled with activities for kids and adults like a jumping castle, Lego building station from Bricks4Kidz, healthy treats from Longos,  drinks from Melitta coffee and much more.

Last Tri-fun Triathlon race this year will be taking place in Oakville on August 23 and registration for this event already sold out. We are looking forward to 2016 schedule for more fun, games and valuable experience!

New Preschool Series Playdate from Sinking Ship Entertainment & DHX Television Airing This Fall

We love watching preschool programs, each one is unique and special, some are educational, another entertaining or both, but always bring smiles to children's faces and make kids happy. This fall we are looking forward to new preschool series called Playdate. It is a combination of live-action and puppets, what I think will be quite interesting to watch.


Sinking Ship Entertainment, recent recipients of three Daytime Emmy Awards, and DHX Television announced the production the new preschool series Playdate. A mix of live-action and the skilled puppeteering of Dina and Frank Meschkuleit, the series showcases the unexpected adventures Jacob and his friends’ stuffed animals encounter when they leave them alone. Playdate’s first season will see 13 half-hour episodes and is slated to premiere on DHX Television’s preschool channel which will be rebranded to Family Junior in Fall 2015.

Every child believes their toys come to life when they’re not around and on Playdate, they really do! Meet Mac, Sammy, Priscilla and Buckie – the beloved stuffed animals of Jacob and his friends who venture out on their own playtime adventures when the children are away. They do their best to complete the kids’ playtime adventures but usually end up causing some kind of mess or chaos along the way. Since the kids can never know their toys come to life, Mac, Sammy, Priscilla and Buckie have to finish their escapades before the kids come back and make sure they’re exactly where they started off. Luckily, Norman, the family dog, makes the perfect fall guy for any of their hijinks.


Playdate stars Millie Davis (Odd Squad, Orphan Black) as Molly; Scarlett Dovey (This is Scarlett and Isaiah) as Gwen; and newcomers Aidan Wojtak-Hissong as Jacob and Nirvaan Kwan as Enzo. If the person takes all the necessary steps at a right time, it is possible to remedy the issue. Having in mind that condition is caused by bad diet, it is only natural that the diet should be immediately altered. Also, patient will need to drink a lot of water.

Each case is particular and dosage needs to be tweaked based on that.
